At Ascott, we are always looking to develop our products, improving performance and user experience. Going forwards, all Ascott Chambers (with the exception of 120L and Kesternich models) will now feature a viewing window/panel.

The viewing window allows for easy visual inspection without the need to remove the side panel and can be quickly and easily opened by using the key provided if access is required.

Benefits of new design:

• Clear view of Air Saturator and PLCs
• Early visual identification of possible issues
• Allows users to relay information/images to service engineers
• Panel opens easily with key provided
• Secure locking door prevents ingress of dust or other foreign substances

1 key is supplied as standard with each chamber, additional/replacement keys are available to order for end users and service engineers.  (Part Code FASC912)

Ascott Holiday Closures

As we come to the end of 2023, we are not only looking back on a challenging but incredibly rewarding year, but also looking forward to 2024 which looks set to be another record breaking year, as well as a very special anniversary – more news on that in the New Year!

Our Ascott HQ will close on 21st December at 17:00 GMT, reopening on January 2nd at 08:30 GMT.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of our customers, colleagues and partners around the world for their continued support and wish each and every one of you a peaceful and enjoyable holiday season and New Year, however you choose to celebrate.

The American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) test B117 is one of the most widely adopted standards for salt spray testing. Its use is internationally widespread and its provisions have been frequently re-written into the national standards of other countries, and also appear in other industry specific corrosion test standards.

Ascott Service Training – This week saw our first service training session of 2023.  After a few years break due to the restrictions on international travel , we are delighted to be able to offer face to face training once again here at Ascott Head Office in Tamworth.

This 3 day course, open to all of our authorised partners around the world offers a comprehensive understanding of after sales service of our range of corrosion testing chambers, including installation, ongoing maintenance and routine servicing, along with how to diagnose and solve any issues that may occur.

This hands-on training is invaluable, whilst we also offer videos, written materials and webinars to provide support,  being able to work with a chamber and have your questions answered in real time in our purpose built training centre offers the very best opportunity to learn.

For those who are new to the range, the course equips them to be able to confidently support their customers, and for those who are already familiar with the range, it is a good way to refresh learning as well as gain knowledge on our newer products.

Of course, it’s not all work, we always enjoy hosting visitors here at Ascott, and getting the chance to get to know them better over a meal and a well earned drink in the evening!

It has been a very busy year and as expected, the combined expertise and resources of Ascott and Weiss Technik has led to increased global interest and significant expansion.

As part of the changes, we now have a new logo which we will be rolling out across Ascott materials and

publications over the coming months
