How Ascott Chambers Work
Ascott Chambers
Understanding how Ascott chambers work is essential for anyone performing professional corrosion testing.
Ascott manufactures three main types of test chambers – Salt Spray,
Cyclic Corrosion Test (CCT),
and Atmosfär chambers – each designed to replicate real-world environments with precision.
These chambers support multiple test modes, allowing users to perform ASTM B117, ISO 9227, and other global standards reliably.
Our chambers are engineered to deliver consistent, repeatable results. Salt Spray chambers are ideal for simple, continuous salt fog tests.
CCT chambers provide advanced cyclic corrosion simulations, including salt spray, condensation, air drying, and controlled humidity.
For the most complex testing, Atmosfär chambers simulate automotive and industrial conditions with oscillating spray bars, refrigeration, and optional SO₂ gas dosing.
