ASTM D2247 – コーティングされた試験片を高い一定温度で高い相対湿度にさらすことによってコーティングの耐水性を試験するために使用することができるので、それらの上に結露が形成されます。
試験片は密閉されたチャンバーに入れられ、そこでは、+ 38°Cの温度および100%RHの相対湿度で、空気と水蒸気の加熱された飽和混合物からなる気候が作成される。 この気候は一定の定常状態条件下で維持されます。 テスト期間は可変です。
