Typical SAE J2334 chambers
The equipment needed to conduct the SAE J2334 cyclic corrosion test is typically a specialized CCT chamber that has the additional facilities to enable salt spraying from above (directly on to the samples under test), condensing humidity (wetting) by water fog or complete immersion, and controlled humidity air drying.
Such a chamber would preferably be equipped with fully automatic programmable controls, to enable unattended operation of the series of complex test cycles.
Cabinets used for this type of testing are supplied by a number of specialist companies including Ascott Analytical Equipment, Liebisch, Atlas and Sheen.
