Typical salt spray chambers
The equipment needed to conduct any of the ASTM G85 modified salt spray/salt fog tests is typically a traditional salt spray chamber that meets the requirements of ASTM B117, and depending on the annex number (A1 - A5), the possible addition of certain special facilities/control equipment. Cabinets used for this type of testing are supplied by a number of specialist companies including Ascott Analytical Equipment, Liebisch, Atlas and Sheen.
